Lucia Bronzetti

Lucia Bronzetti is an Italian tennis player, who has career-high WTA rankings of No 73 in singles. She has reached five ITF titles.

Lucia Bronzetti was born in Rimini, Italy on December 10, 1998. As a junior, she reached the semi-finals of the 2013 Kvarner Junior Open and the 2015 Asset Banca Junior Open, quarter-finals of the 2013 International Tournament Citta’ Di Crema and the 2014 J5 San Marino \ San Marino Junior Open.

Lucia Bronzetti made her professional debut in 2014, at the $10,000 Caserta (Italy). She was defeated in the first round. During the end of the season she played also at the $10,000 Viserba Di Rimini (Italy), where reached the second round.

In 2015, Lucia Bronzetti reached the second rounds at the $10,000 Viserba (Italy), $25,000 W25 Tarvisio (Italy), $15,000 Caslano (Switzerland), and $10,000 Duino Aurisina (Italy).

The Italian tennis babe won her first title in 2016 at the $15,000 Sion (Switzerland). During the season she also reached the semi-finals of the $15,000 Sassuolo (Italy) and the quarter-finals of the $25,000 W25 Sezze (Italy).

In 2017, Lucia Bronzetti reached the semi-finals of the $15,000 Cuneo (Italy) and $15,000 Caslano (Switzerland), before winning the title at the $15,000 W15 Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt).

In the next year, she reached the semi-finals of the $15,000 W15 Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt), $15,000 W15 San Severo (Italy), and the quarter-final of the $25,000 W25 Chiswick (UK).

In 2019, Lucia Bronzetti continue playing in the ITF Circuit entirely and reached the semi-finals of the $15,000 W15 Monastir (Tunisia), $25,000 W25+H Kazan (Russia), $25,000 W25 Biella (Italy), $25,000 W25 Verbier (Switzerland), $25,000 W25 Santa Margherita Di Pula (Italy), and $25,000 W25 Minsk (Belarus).

Lucia Bronzetti had a very short calendar in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. She reached the semi-finals of the $15,000 W15 Trieste (Italy) and $15,000 W15 Lousada (Portugal).

However, the season 2021 was her most successful so far. Lucia Bronzetti won the titles at the $15,000 W15 Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt) and $15,000 W15 Le Havre (France). She was also the runner-up of the $25,000 W25 Jonkoping (Sweden), $25,000 W25 Torino (Italy), and $60,000 W60 Bellinzona (Switzerland) and reached the quarter-finals of the $60,000 W60 Oeiras (France).

Lucia Bronzetti made her WTA debut in 2022. She played at the WTA 500 Adelaide International, losing in the first round. She made her Grand Slam tournament debut at the 2022 Australian Open as a qualifier where she reached the second round defeating Varvara Gracheva for her first Grand Slam tournament win, before losing to World No 1 Ashleigh Barty. During the season, she made a real breakthrough, reaching the fourth round of the WTA 1000 Miami Open. In April, she won her fifth ITF title at the $60,000 W60 Chiasso (Switzerland). During the season she reached the semi-finals of the WTA 250 Grand Prix Sar La Princesse Lalla Meryem.

Lucia Bronzetti is one of the most talented young Italian tennis players. She is also one of the hottest tennis babes.
