Venus Williams Beats Serena On «Fashion Court» After Exciting Eyewear Launch

Venus Williams became the first of the Williams sisters to launch an eyewear collection, as her company EleVen partnered with Look Optic to create a collection that will be available starting August 18. As we know, both Venus and Serena own fashion brands, why? we will not compare them.

After all, the competition on the tennis court was fierce between them. In this regard, while Serena Williams’ S by Serena brand has more prominence given the tennis icon’s larger following, Venus’ EleVen has won the eyewear race because S by Serena has yet to announce an eyewear collection.

«Partnering with LOOK OPTIC and working with their team was a very collaborative experience. They truly understand EleVen’s commitment to creating products that allow you to look and feel your best. With any product we design, we want to be sure that we are delivering nothing more what is best for our consumers: this capsule is no exception, and the final product is something that excites me not only to use, but also to see you! said Venus Williams.

About the new Venus Williams eyewear collection

According to the official press release, “LOOK OPTIC’s first metal frame, «Muse», was designed with attention to detail and a dedication to versatility.

The frame’s unique half-rim design was born to stand out, and add a tinted lens to the mix and consumers have a modern classic with a luxurious edge. The frames themselves are performance quality yet super lightweight, designed with the same TR-90 material used to make sports eyewear.

Made from 100% recycled materials, the LOOK OPTIC x EleVen Venus Williams Muse frame is offered in four lens options, reading glasses ($82), tinted reading glasses ($98), blue light ($92), and sunglasses ($98), and it’s available in flat and magnified lenses.»
