Rebecca Sramkova was born on October 19, 1996, in Bratislava, Slovakia. On the ITF Junior Circuit, Šramková achieved her highest ranking of 200. She won the titles at the Small Lobik, Tejt Prievidza Cup U16, was the runner-up at the Opalenica Cup and reached the semi-finals of the Mercedes Jugend Cup. She reached the quarter-finals of the French Open / Roland Garros in 2014.
Rebecca Sramkova made her professional debut in 2012 at the $10,000 Velenje (Slovakia) and reached the second round. During the year she played also in several more ITF tournaments, reaching maximum in the second round.

In 2016, she performed extremely strongly and won the titles at the $25,000 Karshi (Uzbekistan), $25,000 W25 Rome (Italy) and $100,000 Biarritz (France). She is also the runner-up of the $50,000 Ilkley (UK) and reached the semi-finals of the $80,000 Prague (Czech Republic) and $25,000 Landisville, PA (USA). During the year, Rebecca Sramkova debuted in the Challender tour and played at the WTA 125 Open BLS De Limoges, but lost in the first round.
Rebecca Sramkova debuted at the Grand Slam in 2017, playing in the Australian Open. She lost in the first round to Yingying Duan. In 2021, Rebecca Sramkova returned to the court. She reached the semi-finals of the $15,000 W15 Bratislava (Slovakia) and made her biggest breakthrough at the Challender tour, reaching the semi-finals of the WTA 125 Belgrade Ladies Open, as well as the quarter-finals of the WTA 125 Liqui Moly Open Karlsruhe.
Rebecca Sramkova did not record some significant achievements in 2022, but played at the French Open / Roland Garros and lost in the first round to the future semi-finalist Daria Kasatkina.
