Novak Djokovic is through to his first Adelaide final in 16 years! The Serb defeated Daniil Medvedev 6-3, 6-4 in the semifinal, struggling with a left thigh injury but taking home the win in straight sets. Thus, the Serbian will face Sebastian Korda in his 131st ATP final.

Novak beat Daniil for the ninth time in 13 meetings and the fourth time in a row since the 2021 Paris Masters final. Djokovic served 57% and made the most of it. He played superbly after hitting the first serve and kept up the pressure on the other end after fending off all three break points.

Both players earned 16 return points, and Novak converted his on two breaks from three chances, enough to seal the deal and preserve his body for the title clash.

Novak got off to a good start and broke Daniil in the fourth game for a 3-1 lead.

The Serb suffered a left thigh injury and took a medical timeout. He saved a break point in game seven and closed out the first set on serve at 5-3 for a big boost. Both players served well in the first six games of the second set before Novak took a break that sent him in front. The Serb fended off two break chances at 4-3 to stay in front and held on 15 at 5-4 to emerge on top.
