Camila Giorgi will face Jessica Pegula in the first round of the 2023 US Open.. The handsome and strong American tennis player won the National Bank Open in Montreal a few weeks ago. Both have won the Canadian WTA 1000 and it will be a challenge between the two tennis players.
Meanwhile, Camila just arrived in NYC and has already shared some memorable photos.. On Instagram, the beautiful Italian tennis player shared a photo of a truly incredible outfit. It looks like a black and white floral kimono, with a lace insert at the bottom.
Camilla in Cincinnati and Montreal
Giorgis was eliminated by Canada’s Rebecca Marino in three sets at the Western and Southern Open in Cincinnati.
Camilla was eliminated from the WTA 1000 main draw in Montreal in the second round with a 6-2, 5-7, 6-0 win over Petra Kvitova. They are located in the stands of the central court.
At the National Bank of Montreal Open, Camilla played a stunning first round match before the 2-time Wimbledon champion was eliminated. After two qualifiers against American Kalieva and Krueger, Italian tennis player Bianca Andreescu scored a convincing 6-3 6-2 victory.
A morale-boosting win for the Italian tennis player against a well-rounded opponent. At the press conference, Camila commented on her performance and expressed her love for this tournament, the only master in her career to win 1000. George reflected. She explained:- «I played a really good game.
From the previous rounds, both my opponents were playing well and the level was very high. The first two matches were incredible and today I think I played even better, I felt good on the court and moved really well. It’s a very comfortable floor for me and my game. I’ve been able to play three great matches here, so I’m happy and I hope to continue that.» Giorgi explained that she was not bothered by the crowd’s cheering, which was actually all from her opponent’s side. : «No, it was the same for both players.
