Here are some fun contests and events from this past week and coming up:

1) Davis Cup Finals Group: Now it’s down to the last 8 teams: Canada, Finland, Czech Republic, Australia, Italy, Netherlands, Serbia and Great Britain.

2) Guadalajara Open: Rarely seen on the WTA 1000 alone (no ATP Masters 1000 equivalent).

3) Ultimate Tennis Showdown: The 2nd UTS event of the year wrapped up in Frankfurt and the fan-friendly format proved to be an absolute hit.

4) Tournaments in Asia: Many players have traveled to China and Japan for a series of tournaments.

China Open Masters 1000 starts next week 🇨🇳

5) Laver Cup: Are you Team Europe or Team World this weekend in Vancouver? I’m doing my duty as the #1 tennis influencer to keep you informed and up to date.

Rachel Stullman and the PTPA

Stullman previously shared a video of her talking about Novak Djokovic’s PTPA: “For the most part, professional tennis is an incredible organization.

But I’ve been around the game long enough to see the inconsistencies, conflicts of interest and lack of transparency across the board in professional tennis. If I can use my voice and platform to help my friends on tour and push for reforms on important topics, I will do that.

It was great fun sitting down with @ptpaplayers to talk about the tough topics our sport needs help with.

Having this player association (led by @djokernole and @vasek.pospisil) is important. PTPA’s mission, principles and voices are absolutely essential and the necessary changes are something the sport desperately needs.

I love to highlight the beauty of professional tennis, but I also want to push the game forward into a fairer and more accessible tour for all the amazing players involved.
