Early Life
Ons Jabeur was born on August 28, 1994, in Ksar Hellal, Tunisia, to parents Samir and Samira. She has two younger brothers and started playing tennis at the age of three. Her parents, who were both physical education teachers, recognized her talent for the sport and supported her passion for it.
Tennis Career
Jabeur turned professional in 2010 at the age of 16. She quickly made a name for herself in the tennis world, becoming the first Arab woman to win a junior Grand Slam title at the French Open in 2011.
Since then, Jabeur has competed in numerous tournaments, including the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and US Open. Her highest singles ranking to date is No. 24, which she achieved in October 2021. She has also won two WTA singles titles and two ITF singles titles.
