Nadia Podoroska is an Argentine professional tennis player. She has won one doubles title on the WTA Tour, as well as 14 singles and seven doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. On October 12, 2020, she reached her best singles ranking of world No 48 after reaching the semifinals of the French Open.
Nadia Podoroska was born on February 10, 1997, in Rosario, Santa Fe Province, Argentina. She grew up in a middle-class family in Fisherton. She was the first in her family to play tennis, a sport that she began to practice at the Fisherton Athletic Club at the age of five.
In October 2020, Nadia Podoroska became the first qualifier to reach the semifinals of the French Open when she beat Elina Svitolina in the quarterfinals at Roland Garros. She was named the WTA Newcomer of the Year for her rankings achievement and her solid performance throughout the season.
