Constant weather problems don’t stop ATP Houston from celebrating. The American tournament had to be rescheduled at the last minute when the matches of the first rounds were affected. Everything comes in quick form.

It looks like the non-sports situation in Texas is wreaking havoc on what should be pure sports. After which rain has crippled the day all week, the tournament organizer released a statement confirming the rescheduling of the day. It’s all designed to be played like it’s the Final Four because Saturday, April 8 The results of the round of 16 and quarter round matches must be announced. With the semi-finals and the final itself scheduled for Sunday, April 9, there will be little room for rest for those lucky enough to complete their match.

After all remaining matches and rounds have been taken into account, a new distribution will be made in the short time available. First up is the second round, with John Isner vs. Gijs Brouwer and JJ Wolf vs. Denis Kudla.. These should have started at the earliest on Saturday at 11am local time, although so far poor conditions leave their dispute in no-man’s land. On the same day, but afternoon yet to be confirmedthere will be a dispute of the quarter-finals.
When these stages happen, all players have a few hours to rest. The semi-final clash will begin on Sunday, April 9, at 12:00 local time at the earliest. The final will be played on the same day not before 18:00 local time. However, the organization is leaving those dates up in the air, as it all depends on how Saturday goes.
