In an interview with Onda Cero, Generalitat President Ximo Puig confirmed that Valencia will once again be one of the venues for the Davis Cup. After the announcement of the departure of Kosmos as the organizer, the tournament was filled with uncertainty, but It has ended well for the Spanish public. The situation is similar to Malaga, where contracts have already been signed to keep the venues. Ximo Puig himself confirmed the agreement with the ITF, which is responsible for the preparation of the competition.

This Wednesday there was a meeting between the members of the city council and the leaders of the ITF. The four teams that were in Valencia last year were: Spain, Serbia, Canada and South Korea. The Davis Cup is one of the oldest tennis tournaments, and the United States and Australia are the countries with the most Davis Cup victories. In the last stage, the form of the previous year is kept and it will be held in the same place as last year, in Malaga.
