Two of the best tennis players in history are returning to Monte Carlo. Rafa Nadal and Novak Djokovic are present at the Principality’s Master 1000 competition.
As Michal Samulski said on his Twitter page, both Rafael Nadal like Novak Djokovic contributes to this new edition Monte Carlo Master 1000. This reporter has commented that new tournament director David Massey has confirmed the presence of these world tennis stars. The draw will also feature defending champion Stefanos Tsitsipas and will be held on Friday, April 7 at 5:00 p.m.
Rafael Nadal returns to the Monte Carlo Masters after recovering from an injury that prevented him from competing for the title at the Australian Open. The man from Manacor knows the Monte-Carlo Country Club slopes very well, he has been champion eleven times in the principality Furthermore, the Spanish tennis player did not play the tournament in the 2022 edition and only few tennis players have been able to beat Nadal in Monte Carlo.
Novak Djokovic returns to the principality after the previous round, where he lost in his first match against Davidovich. Monte Carlo Masters always has a large group of players who are willing to win the tournament and want to experience Roland Garros. This edition is no exception, already featuring players of the stature of Nadal, Djokovic and Stefanos Tsitsipas.
David Massey, the new director of the Monte-Carlo Masters, has confirmed that Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic will play in the tournament in April (entry deadline is March 13).
The draw, including title owner Stefanos Tsitsipas, will be held on Friday, April 7 at 5:00 p.m.
