Caroline Wozniacki seemed to cast a shadow on jelena ostapenko as he revealed during his match commentary that he once practiced with the Latvian and never again. Their last meeting was in the 2017 French Open quarterfinals, when Ostapenko defeated Wozniacki in three sets. After beating Wozniacki, Ostapenko won her first Grand Slam title at the French Open.
