Bianca Andreescu said she felt that «played very well» in her first round win for Hua Hia over Harriet Dart. The No.1 seed Andreescu kicked off her campaign in Hua Hin with a 6-3, 6-4 win over 104th-ranked Dart. It was Andreescu’s first match since she suffered an upset second-round loss to Cristina Bucsa at the Australian Open.
«I think I played very well. In the second set, I felt like I lost my concentration a bit. Waiting all day is no fun. I was a bit tired, but I’m very glad I recovered.» and I was able to finish the match», Andreescu said after his initial victory in Hua Hin, according to Lukas Weese.

How Andreescu defeated Dart
Andreescu got off to a great start to the match, breaking Dart in the first game of the match.
Down by a break, Dart didn’t give up as he broke Andreescu in the sixth game to tie the first set at three games apiece. After coming back from a break, Dart lost a game point in game seven when Andreescu broke the Brit again to go 4-3 up.
In the ninth game, when Dart was serving to stay in the first set, Andreescu earned his third break of the set to clinch the opener. After the first two games of the second set, Andreescu and Dart were tied at one game each.
Andreescu then earned back-to-back breaks in the fourth and sixth games to win four straight games and open up a 5-1 lead. Just when it looked like the game was over, Dart responded with back-to-back breaks in the seventh and ninth games to cut the deficit to 5-4.
Dart worked hard to win back both breaks, but then in the tenth game, when he was serving to tie the set at five games apiece, he lost serve again as Andreescu escaped with a straight-set win. Andreescu plays Anastasia Zakharova in the round of 16 in Hua Hin.
