A social issue that should transmit messages of peace and freedom to children, but that often collides with the aspirations and desires of parents and improvised managers. The incident in question took place in a sports center in Belgrade, the protagonists of the story are of Chinese origin, and was made public by Igor Juric, a coach who has always been involved in the fight against child abuse.
The images of the brutal aggression perpetrated by an irresponsible father against his daughter during tennis training have revived the debate on the ability of sport to spread the values of respect and solidarity.
Juric posted the video on his Twitter account denouncing the incident. In the video, a man can be identified beating a girl with violent kicks and slaps. The subject, who turned out to be the father of the very young athlete, later grabbed her daughter by her hair before throwing her to the ground to kick her.

The Serbian security forces immediately intervened and arrested the subject, who was summoned before the Belgrade General Prosecutor to express his version of events.
As told by major Serbian newspapers, the man, identified by the initials WL, would have justified his behavior by bringing up Chinese culture and the behavior of his daughter, accused of not wanting to train properly.
In the local press you can read: “The father justified his action by saying that his daughter refused to continue training on the day of the charge and that is why he wanted to bring her back to the field. All this underlining that it was not her intention to harm him and that, traditionally, hierarchies in China must be respected.
He believes he did the right thing because it is allowed in China.» Therefore, the man showed no signs of remorse or torment and now faces a prison term of two to ten years. The prosecutor will have to confirm the serious accusations of domestic violence.
