Waiting on the other side was Lucía Peyre, who had a great tournament and had just beaten Serbia’s Kozarov in straight sets. In the first set, the second seed was overwhelming. Eala was very stable and made a few mistakes and took the first set 6-3. As usual, Peyre didn’t give up and kept fighting to find his moment and little by little he seemed to improve his feelings.
In the last moments of the second set, Peyre was superior and ended up forcing the final set 7-5. The match was very nice and kept the crowd entertained throughout the third period. Ryser eliminated Eva Guerrero
The second game was great too. Switzerland Fall faced the Spaniards Eva Guerrero that after the injuries, he wants to slowly establish himself in the circle of women. The first sleeve was a real struggle. Equality in many games and without a clear dominant, so we finally reached a draw. In sudden death, Guerrero was better and ended up taking the first round. Ryser had hopes of a comeback and battled back and forth with Eva Guerrero in another stunning second set, who was able to level the scores after winning the second tiebreaker. In the third set, both arrived tired, but equality was still the key to the match. Eventually Ryser finished spectacularly and thus left the Yecla tournament without Spain.
