Daniel Medvedev played the Vienna Tournament on the brink of perfection. The Russian took the trophy after the surprise withdrawal from the semifinal in Astana against Novak Djokovic. Only one set lost all week, right in the final against Denis Shapovalov: East stumbling block did not stop him on his way to final victory.
