13.-19. In February, the new edition of the Bahrain Ministry of Interior Tennis Challenger will be held in the city of Manama. Bahrain’s capital, Manama, will host its Challenger tournament for the second consecutive season after its absolute premiere on the calendar in 2022. In that only edition, the champion was India’s Ramkumar Ramanathan, now gone.
A great list of players in this Asian tournament with plenty of Australian representation among the main favourites. The best seed in the tournament is Jason Kublerfollowed by Christopher O’Connell y Alexei Popyrin, which complete the trio of favorites. Another Aussie-like presence also stands out in the pre-qualified batch Thanasi Kokkinakis, played his first tournament since the Australian Open, where he was eliminated in a historic match against Murray. The Italians Francesco Passaro y Matthew ArnaldiIn addition, they are among the seeded ones.
