Stan Wawrinka dealt the final blow to Switzerland against Kazakhstan in the United Cup by beating Alexander Bublik 3-0 6-3, 7-6(3) in an hour and 31 minutes.

Switzerland had everything to win this series. This Friday’s evening meeting started with a duel of men’s numbers, e.g Stan Wawrinka and Alexander Bublik. The Kazakh star faced off in a three-set duel in Monte Carlo and then retired in the fourth game of Helvetia’s match at the Metz tournament.
